THE APOLLO ADVANTAGE

Jojo has been in the optical industry for more than 30 years. She is now leading a team of diverse women. She is very thorough and conscientious with the patients she helps and it’s obvious because they are always coming back looking for her! She is the supplements Queen! Jojo is very health and skin conscious and takes her time to take care of  her body. Jojo’s favorite colour is blue and she cannot resist a gai mei bao (coconut buns from the Chinese bakery).  

Kat has been at Apollo Optical for more than 30 years as well. She is extremely efficient at her job and if you need things to be done in a timely manner, she’s your gal. She also has a knack for finding the right frame for you and your budget. Kat loves bagels and Vietnamese banh mi. 

Jenny has been at Apollo for nearly 10 years and an optician for 4 years now. She is the current lab technician and has trained Anna recently to work in the lab as well! Jenny loves working with kids and learning about optical anomalies - she finds more complicated jobs super interesting and is always up for the challenge. Jenny enjoys painting, practicing yoga and rock climbing on her days off. 

Anna is our youngest optician at Apollo Optical. She is a great listener and fluent in Vietnamese. She works very great under pressure and has been learning about the ins and outs of Apollo quite quickly. Somehow she can always remember which customer purchased which frames. Anna has a huge sweet tooth and you can always find her at the beach during the summer time. 

Administrative Assistant Jay is our newest Apollo team member. 

She is a very quick learner and very efficient. She is reliable and we can count on her to get the job done. She has a background in marketing and economics so she has been valuable for Apollo. Jay has meshed really well with the team and she always open to learning new things. She loves volleyball, playing her Nintendo Switch and cannot pass up a good restaurant. 

Katty has been at Apollo Optical for over 20 years as well and she knows the store inside and out. She is like an Apollo Optical encyclopedia! She double checks and sometimes even triple checks everything. We can always count on Katty. She is a cruise connoisseur and might have a shoe addiction. 

Jennifer has been at Apollo Optical for over 20 years and she has to be the most social and interpersonal teammate. She’ll really go out of her way to find the right frame for you and that includes hunting down the frame all over Toronto. She will also always give her honest opinion about how a frame looks on you. She and her family love Disney and building Lego worlds is her favorite past-time.

Janice has been at Apollo for over 20 years as well and she is our lab wiz. If you cannot figure out how to repair a job, Janice will always find a way. She really understands the ins and outs of how glasses function both on and off your face. She has also trained and taught a few teammates how to operate the lab and get glasses to customers at the end of day. Janice loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family!
